Teagan Ramsay is an independent curator, arts practitioner and art documenter based in Naarm/Melbourne. They work primarily with sound and image which is informed by affect theory and spatial perception. Their curatorial practice is underpinned by collaborative frameworks, socialist ethics and intersectional feminist methodologies.
Teagan currently sits on the Blindside Board of Directors as a Fundraising Coordinator and works as a freelance exhibitions photographer for emerging, middle career artists and ARI galleries.
Formerly they have worked as a Research Assistant at Monash University Museum of Art, as a Gallery Assistant at Monash University’s MADA Gallery, as a Digital Content Coordinator and an Assistant Curator at Centre for Projection Art, and have been engaged at West Space, Seventh Gallery and Channels Festival as a volunteer Gallery Invigilator, and at SYN Media as a volunteer Co-Producer for Art Smitten.
